What I teach

My Reiki training courses are based on the teachings of the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui. I teach Usui Reiki Ryoho, without the many Western Reiki additions and modifications that complicate and clutter this wonderful healing art.

My Reiki courses are very focused with teaching and practise time used only for Reiki and nothing else! The course syllabus is purely Reiki, so we do not waste time on subjects that are not part of Usui's Reiki method. My students get the full day for Reiki teaching and practise time. As a result, my Reiki courses are taught over one day rather than two days, while covering the Reiki syllabus in-depth, we get more hours of Reiki teaching than many other Reiki courses that are held over two days!

I teach my Active Reiki method. I have developed this method over the last 17 years to create a treatment protocol that utilises not just Reiki, but intention, visualisation and the placebo effect to maximise the healing potential of the treatment.

My Reiki training courses cover two main areas:

The theory and methods of Usui Reiki Ryoho.

The application of Reiki and the way we treat clients using current best practise as defined by National Occupational Standards for Reiki.

Why take my Reiki courses?

I teach my Active Reiki method. This is only taught by me and by students that have taken their Reiki Master Teacher level with me. (click here to read about Active Reiki)

My Reiki level 2 course is a Professional Practitioner course. Most Reiki teachers have this as an additional module after level 2 and charge an extra £200 - £300!

Small class sizes - I only allow 6 students on each class.
