Why do our Reiki courses?

We teach Reiki from both the Japanese and Western lineages to encompass the best and most effective Reiki training available.

Our course syllabuses are comprehensive and include all the subjects required to cover the Reiki Regulatory Work Group recommendations.  In fact, our Reiki courses teach a far greater subject area and to a much greater depth than the recommendations made by the RRWG.

We teach classes for individuals or very small groups to ensure our students get the best possible tuition based on their personal needs.

We have amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience of Reiki as both Reiki teachers and practitioners, which we pass on to our students through our Reiki courses and on-going post-course support.

In addition students have travelled to our Reiki courses from all over the world, including locations such as America, Jordan, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Brazil and Spain.

Details of our Reiki courses

Reiki teaching is structured into levels (or degrees). The traditional Western system of Reiki is taught in 3 levels and the traditional Japanese system of Reiki is taught in 7 levels. Level 1, 2 and 3 of the Western system correspond to level 1, 2 and 4 of the Japanese system. There is no direct equivalent of the Japanese Level 3 in Western Reiki, but some Reiki Masters teach level 3a advanced Reiki courses.

Level 1 - The basic level, used primarily for self healing and spiritual development. This level does not teach the use of  the  Reiki symbols.

Level 2 - The practitioner level, allowing the student to practice Reiki professionally. This level does teach the use of the Reiki symbols allowing healing on a physical and emotional level.

Level 1 & 2 - Level 1 and level 2 have been taught as two separate Reiki courses in the West, but they are much more beneficial when taught together as one course. This corresponds much more  closely to how Usui Sensei the founder, taught Reiki.

Level 3 - The Reiki Healing Mastership. This teaches specific ways to treat various ailments for those who seek to work more clinically with Reiki. This level is not normally taught in Western Reiki.

Level 4 - The  Reiki Teacher Level, allowing the student to teach Reiki and dramatically elevating the student’s awareness.

All the above Reiki courses are based on traditional Usui Reiki, with knowledge and teaching from both the Western and the Japanese traditions.

Places on these Reiki courses are kept limited to allow a much more personal and informal teaching atmosphere. For the level 4 Reiki course there is only one student per class and this is taught by request only.

All Reiki courses are certified and include a Reiki manual. For all Reiki courses writing materials are required.
